Every quarter, I invest the funds in my TradeKing account, and on August 18th, I bought 5 shares of Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) for $43.71 a share. With $4.95 commission, my total purchase was $223.50.
According to their website, “Archer Daniels Midland Company is one of the largest agricultural processors in the world…we take crops and process them to make food ingredients, animal feed ingredients, renewable fuels and naturally derived alternatives to industrial chemicals.”
Furthermore, ADM is a dividend champion at 41 years with more than $67.7 billion in annual sales and roughly a 17 P/E. The dividend yield is 2.66% with a quarterly payout of .30 a share. This purchase increases my 12-month forward dividend income by $6.
What have you purchased recently?
Nice buy. I picked ADM shares earlier in the year. I’m happy to be a shareholder alongside you.
Thank you, the same goes for me. I would have liked to have bought them sooner, but I’m happy to have been able to get in even now.
Awesome pick up have not picked any up yet but it is on my watchlist. Keep it up
Thank you! I hope to invest more soon, so long as the price is right.
